Tiger and Kelly Are Cool

The Golf Channel helped clear the air courtesy of Mark Steinberg, Tiger's agent:

This story is a non-issue. Tiger and Kelly are friends and Tiger has a great deal of respect for Kelly. Regardless of the choice of words used we know unequivocally that there was no ill-intent in her comments. This story is a non-issue in our eyes.

So there you have it. And that's why I prefaced what I said yesterday as speculation predicated on just how upset Tiger would be by what Tilghman said. He wasn't, so the story is dead. Pretty simple how that works, huh?

Does that mean that this won't come up again at some point? No. But, as far as Tiger is concerned, he won't.
