A Couple of People of Interest

At the Sony Open in Hawaii, Tommy Gainey and Nick Flanagan fired unimpressive +3 rounds. Tadd Fujikawa, the then 16 year old that made a huge splash by making the cut and being the youngest in over 50 years to do so, shot +4 (74). So far, it's not looking like a dream week for any of these guys.

On the top end, though, KJ Choi leads after the opening round. Former N'Wide Tour Player of the Year and guest of The 19th Hole Golf Show Jimmy Walker is in a tie for 2nd place.

Two time defending Comeback Player of the Year Steve Stricker fired an opening 71. He's still on the comeback trail!
