USGA Blog Props
The USGA has a blog. That's right. And it's good.
The blog has several contributors, including media relations personnel Pete Kowalski and Craig Smith, as well as other correspondents like Ken Klavon (guest of The 19th Hole Golf Show) and Dave Shefter. The content is not really like this blog, which is more related to professional golf and blasting nonsensical golf happenings. It's kinder, which is a nice change for me to read. The entries talk about what it's like to work for the USGA, its events and happenings that do not get enough positive play (including from me), and is an all around good read.
It's not very likely that Walter Driver will post a farewell entry or vice versa for the incoming Jim Vernon, but it's still worth your time to read the entries every few days.
