It Just Gets Worse for Wie

Greg Nared is out the door as Michelle Wie's manager with William Morris. He was brought in specifically to manage the Wie relationship as he was one of the hallmarks behind the Tiger Woods relationship at Nike. He is....er, was....Wie's second agent after Ross Berlin left the agency as well because of disagreements with the Wie family regarding her playing schedule and probably some other things, too. Nared was the guy who probably informed Wie about Rule 88 at the Ginn Tribute and took a lot of flack for how that went down even though the Wie family was largely to blame for that event and its fallout.

I think it's time to officially extend my condolences to Michelle Wie and her professional career. It's over barring some kind of Jennifer Capriati-esque miracle. And the sad part is that her parents are to blame. Wiesy has an incredible amount of talent and could very well have turned out to become as lethal as Lorena Ochoa is right now. Being pushed too hard, too fast by parents though, has ruined her will to play and her physical condition. What happened to Sean O'Hair was awful. This relationship is in second place on the all-time list of Golf Parents Gone Nuts, though.
