Bob Charles, at age 71 and the most famous New Zealand born golfer, made the cut this week at the Michael Hill New Zealand Open on -1 for the first 36 holes. I'm impressed. He smoked current NZ #1 Michael Campbell, who missed the cut and wound up 15 back of the lead through two rounds.
