Echoing the WTF RE: LPGA in Asia

Larry Bohannan of The Desert Sun out in sunny California agrees with my column on this blog (and the awesome sites that also publish it) that the LPGA is hurting by having no broadcasts of their Asia swing events. It's always nice to have someone back up your opinion.

I've also received several emails with the same sentiment. The fans demand their LPGA Tour - even if it's a continent away - because the fields are still rock solid in the last weeks of the year. The PGA Tour definitely cannot say that. Could you imagine the response of players if 3 of the Fall Series events were moved to Africa or somewhere outside of North America? Ha! They wouldn't even play in Canada! R.I.P. Air Canada Championship.
