Wild Day at the Hope
Just a short entry. What an amazing weather day at the Hope! This was definitely the anti-Hope and TGC was very quick to point out the incredulousness of having a champion at -17 in a five round event. Of course, the weather is usually not like this, so a winning score is usually in the low -20's.
It takes a lot of concentration to be able to play with any kind of consistency in this kind of weather. So, that makes the ace by Quinney, the Dudley Hart eagle-birdie finish, and champion Charley Hoffman's eagle-birdie performance on 18 all the more impressive and dramatic.
