Correction RE: The LPGA Grand Slam

Beth Ann Baldry did a piece on Lorena Ochoa to preview the Ginn Open and got into a discussion about how, in the span of 12 months, people have gone from wondering if Lorena could win any major to winning all four in a season. Then she cited this statistic:

No LPGA player has ever held all four majors at the same time. Pat Bradley came the closest, starting with the British in 1985, then winning the 1986 Kraft Nabisco and McDonald’s Championship.
The LPGA didn't recognize the Women's British Open as a major until 2001. And Pat Bradley did not win the 1985 Women's British - Betsy King did. But, Bradley did win the du Maurier/Canadian Women's Open in 1985. The rest of that statement is correct.

Just wanted to clear that one up.

Beth is becoming the Doug Ferguson of the LPGA.

She ommited Hee Won Han from LPGA winners without a major, skipping over her to Paula Creamer in addition to crediting Paula with too many victories.
